I started making this piece a while back and then my niece requested some horse paintings for her room so I decided to finish it. I painted it in watercolor on fine art paper. It was given as a gift to her together with another painting I made of an Icelandic horse. Posting this reminds me of how much I look forward to go back to Iceland, visit my family and spend some time out riding horses!
